Buying Trainers 

“We’ve visited many shops and you don’t like any of these trainers!” my girlfriend said. 

“One more shop,” I begged.

“Why don’t you look online?” 

“I want to see what they look like on my feet. I want to know how it feels to wear them.” 

“Why are you buying a new pair of trainers anyway?”

“My old ones look really bad now.” 

“The white Nike ones?” 

“Yeah, I’ve had them for two years now.”

“Look,” my girlfriend said. She showed me a pair of trainers on her phone. They looked similar to the old pair of trainers. 

“No, I want a pair of black trainers now,”

“You are very picky!” 

I apologised. 

“I’ll buy you something to eat after,” I smiled.

“Good because I’m hungry,” My girlfriend said. 

She showed me her phone again. “What about these trainers? They are black, and they look good.” 

“I like these trainers,” I said.  

I asked the staff member to find them in the shop. They had a pair of the black trainers. They had my size. I tried them on. I liked them. After visiting many shops, I finally found a pair of trainers I liked. I took my girlfriend to get something to eat after that. She was very patient with me.
